Originally designed to handle the mooring of coal barges and tugs, the Bayside Boardwalk is a conversion of an industrial site into a private residential boat dock. Moyle Construction reused the existing metal sheet piling as the base for the new dock. Using cantilevered cast-in-place concrete pads, a new dock was created. Rough sawn timber planks provide cushion and pedestals with hook-ups for power and water allow residents to maintain their boats right on site.
