Story

Mekus Tanager assisted the University of Chicago with interior design services and the renovation of four floors of the University's Administration Building on the Hyde Park campus to create a new office space for the Office of Development and Alumni Relations. Consisting of approximately 24,000 square feet, the project involved the design of a new reception area as well as a mix of open and private offices and conference space. Completed on a tight budget, the space consists largely of building standard materials and economical design details and finishes. The two-phased construction process was completed in August, 2002.
