Story

The new Innovation and Design Center for Chamberlain, the largest manufacturer of garage and gate openers in the country, embraces modern dynamic ways of working. A seamless integration of space promotes collaboration and cross-pollination, between departments and disciplines, which drives the overall concept. They include pods to create team adjacencies, war rooms, “mosh-pits,” conference areas, and temporary work stations to maximize flexibility for rapid change.

The goal of the new space is to increase the pace of innovation and product expansion through an open plan fostering engagement and inspiration that promotes the flow of ideas. The design brings together, under one roof, all of the various expertise, including the dreamers and pragmatists, necessary to expand their portfolio and keep them on the cutting-edge.

As a leading technology company, the goal is to push the envelope of design as they do with their products. It is professional, intriguing and inviting, making it a physical embodiment of corporate branding. A major focal point of the facility is an exciting state-of-the-art showroom which provides clients and visitors with an effective opportunity to experience products.
