CellularONE

Story

Steve Wierzbowski, our Principal leading retail efforts, designed a prototype store for CellularONE, which he then helped implement over the entire Midwest in more than 80 locations, each ranging from 900 to 2400 square feet of space.

CellularONE wanted to project a warmer and more inviting image than cellular companies typically had.  The space was designed with warm tones, woods instead of plastics and metals, and canvass instead of vinyl banners.

Various store elements were then premanufactured so that the individual locations could be built out and set up with extreme expediency.  All graphic banners were interchangeable so that they could be easily updated.  They worked so well that even though CellularONE no longer exists, the banners are still used by its predecessor cellular companies to this day.
