Story

Mekus Tanager designed a series of technologically sophisticated operations facilities in northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.  Ranging in size from 50,000 to 150,000-square feet, the projects consist of call centers and field operations centers.  Projects were always fast-paced and had to be designed and executed within limited budgets and tight schedules.  These spaces involved the merger of previously different cultures into one new collaborative work environment. In Oak Brook, Illinois, the western region call center was designed to occupy three full floors and two partial floors in a mid-rise, suburban office building.
