Story

This is JTAI’s first international project. It consists of a multi-phased development in a rural community of South Africa that is serving a growing Christian contingent. The master plan of the property includes a church, classroom building, care takers quarters and outdoor sports fields. The church will seat 250 – 300. Operationally the services are similar to a 'seeker' style church found in the States. However the building was designed with elements to reflect the African culture while being considerate of the climatic and geographic conditions and available building materials and construction techniques common to the area. JTAI developed a relationship early in the course of the project with a local architect, quantity surveyor, and contractor. Their insight and experience with local conditions was very helpful in the project. GEC was formally dedicated on March 17, 2002, by His Royal Highness Goodwill Zwelethini, King of the Zulus. "The help that we received was always extremely professional, appropriate to our needs, and committed to the successful completion of our project. Thanks JTAI!" Rev. Isaiah Mafu (Pastor)
