Home #V4
Hudsonville, MI
Casa Bella was truly a one-of-a-kind project. This home embodies excellence right from the start with design collaboration of Doug at Creekside Companies & Kristi at Infinite Concepts initially and then using the talents of Steve @ J Visser Design who took the concepts and wrapped them into a great design package.
This new 2,887 sq.ft. home fits this cozy lot much like the homes surrounding it that were designed to do so many, many decades ago. Keeping the cottage flavor of the resort area while building ample spaces to both live casually and take in the views of both Lake Michigan and Lake Macatawa from the different levels. Initially, part of the design parameters given was to construct a custom and quaint cottage with a whimsical feel. The interior layout and function plus the ample balconies, decks, and outdoor seating definitely offer those feels of the beach and lake resort scenes.
The entire home greets guests with its warmth and intricate design. Each level boasts its own individuality and finesse. The Street level features a large exterior gathering area with integral fireplace, quaint guest parking, and a place to grill and entertain. The interior street level and lower level contain bedrooms, a bunk room, several bathrooms, the main laundry room, and a minibar for their guests and future grandchildren.
The main level consists of another guest bedroom and the main kitchen / entertaining space. The chevron accent throughout gives the home a flare that is undeniable. The Custom Table/island was handmade that can be converted and moved to expand and fit 12 guests at the minimum. Designed explicitly to be very custom, expandable, and provide ample room to fit everyone and entertain a growing family or special guests.
The 4th floor features an additional sitting area with a tv that raises out of a custom cabinet partially hidden into the floor system to allow for further light and window exposure when the tv is stored. A supplemental kitchenette bar area, an owner’s suite laundry area, and an exquisite Master Suite wing with all the expected amenities. The ceiling details and wallpaper offers texture and clean lines again which emphasize the details on every level.
The 5th floor was an addition that the Homeowner requested early on in the construction, and it allows for expansive views of Lake Michigan and Lake Macatawa. Who does not love a rooftop oasis?
Nevertheless, the entire home was constructed with an “aging in place design”. The zero-step entry from the garage, every floor accessible via elevator, and accessible shower spaces included. All of these features make this home very special to both the homeowners and those who visit.
As always Creekside Companies is passionately dedicated to creating the house that is truly the owner’s home! Quality is always number one for Creekside and this home turned out exceptional with the talents of everyone involved.
