Story

The objective of this project was to make a kitchen that was inviting and welcoming while also maintaining its practicality and gaining storage space. Even though we decreased the window square footage, we maintained a natural, organic light by bringing white materials to the space in the backsplash tile, countertops, and flooring. Storage and workspace countertop increased greatly by replacing the larger window with a smaller one and extending the cabinetry along the full length of the kitchen wall. A larger island now creates an abundance of seating for gathering and entertaining.
