The Madison

Laundry Room

Story

This Laundry Room was part of a two year renovation of a historic home in the Heritage Hill area. This Laundry area was a newly created space on the second floor near the bedrooms. Where possible, the items were removed and restored, such as the existing windows and doors, along with the hardware. We also restored a piece of soapstone that was originally in the unfinished basement, cut it to size, and repurposed it as counters in this space.

Custom cabinetry, plumbing, and lighting, as well  as custom millwork, such as the vertical paneling, were installed in this space. Cement tiles were installed as the flooring. An internal windows opens from the Laundry to the Master Walk in Closet.
