Attic Renovation with Kitchenette

Story

This Bonus Room renovation is part of a renovation of a historic home in the Heritage Hill area. This is the Bonus Room of the attic level. As much as possible, original elements such as the radiators, windows, doors, and hardware were removed and restored. The ceiling planes were reworked and walls removed to open up the space into one large room. New white oak ceiling beams, new flooring and custom window seats were built into the space. The speciality arched window had been covered over with drywall in the past, and was exposed and restored.

New millwork was added to match the historical integrity of the house. Nickel gap was added to the walls and ceilings of the space.

The highlight of the space is the new Kitchenette showcasing dark green custom cabinetry, glazed green tile, and quartz counters.

The last three images show the "existing" space.
