Lakefront Residence Remodel
Story
This pure Michigan lakefront cottage has been transformed from seasonal to year-round living for our clients. The renovation included an addition of 893 sq. ft. to the main floor living space as well as a custom 168 sq. ft. 3-season porch. The entire interior, exterior & landscape of the cottage was also given a complete update. This home on the lake is ready to welcome & entertain family & friends in any season.
Surrounded by water & nature, inspiration for this custom project was easy to find. The exterior update includes new siding, cultured stone pillars & accents, Anderson windows, Azek decking with cable railing, standing seam metal roof accents & new landscape with stone boulders & stairway to an incredible lakefront patio.
The interior transformation includes custom finishes such as: Wellborn Estate Cabinetry, exotic Granite selections, heated tile & solid hickory flooring, rustic beams, shiplap accents, a teak wood ceiling in the new 3-season porch, a spa master retreat with soaking tub, and the updated second story featuring 2 guest suites & bath. The water views have been featured throughout the main living areas with an incredible floor plan design.
