Accomplishments

- We traveled to the 2019 International Builders' Show in Las Vegas to accept the NAHB's Best in American Living Award for our Cascade Modern project, completed in 2017. The national-level award recognizes exceptional construction and design in a custom home.

- Marquis projects completed in 2019 include a $2.9M vacation retreat for the president of a major U.S. airline.

- Our company's continued revenue growth led to the hiring in late 2019 of an Estimator/Site Supervisor to join our boutique staff of three.

- Our owner/principal completed his first full year as president of the Keystones chapter of an NAHB 20 Club, a professional networking group of custom home builders from across the U.S.

- Our owner/principal appeared on WOODtv 8's Eight West program as a finalist for HBAGGR's 2018 Builder of the Year.

- Our office manager become one of the earliest members of a new, Grand Rapids-based Professional Women in Building chapter.

- In our company's third year as a corporate partner of the Grand Rapids Art Museum, we co-sponsored GRAM's annual Wine Down & Get Cheesy event, held on site at our award-winning Cascade Modern project. The event focused on raising awareness of great architectural design here in Grand Rapids and included builder-led tours of the residence.

- Our staff spent two full days in 2019 volunteering as a team to build homes for Habitat for Humanity of Kent County.
