Key Accomplishments:

This past year was a year of great change but also great success for Bob as a builder. Bob's primary goal has been to increase revenue and profitability to achieve sustainable growth over previous years. His plans for attaining this goal were to increase efforts with community involvement and building awareness / reach with potential customers, and focusing even more time and attention toward providing a positive experience for customers he builds homes for. In 2019, Bob's goal was achieved beyond expectations with a 55.2% increase in gross profits from the previous year. 

Bob has made quite a positive impression on his peers over the years which has helped him to advocate himself in the community as a trusted expert and an exceptional builder. Through this exceptional sense of community involvement and many priceless relationships made, Bob has found that in addition to the word-of-mouth referrals he receives from past clients he has built homes for, an increasing number of potential clients looking to build a home are often being referred to him by other business professionals and acquaintances that he works with, or has worked with in the past. 

One of Bob’s greatest and most valued accomplishments is the impact that he has made on those he has built homes for. The quality speaks for itself as Bob builds a truly beautiful home; but the powerful and long-term relationships that he builds with his customers are a perfect representation of who he is, what his values are, and also showcases the great experience that he strives to provide throughout the construction process and beyond for each and every customer. 

In addition, Bob was elected to the Board of Directors for the HBA of Greater Grand Rapids, which is a truly exciting and rewarding achievement. Carrying the belief that social responsibility is of the utmost importance, Bob is grateful to have the opportunity and is passionate about contributing to the collaborative leadership, growth, and future success of the organization and the construction industry.
