Modern Bungalow

Story

Although it was ripped down to its studs and completely updated, this home gives a nod to the quaint 1920's home that once existed. The bungalow exterior and unique gas lanterns mounted aside the front door offer a subtle representation of the old made new again. Inside the modern bungalow, apportioned and closed off floor plan has been completely opened to allow for a spacious living, dining, and kitchen area. The old screened in porch has been converted into a secondary entrance foyer with a half bath, coat closet, and a built-in bench with extra storage. Engineered hardwood floors installed throughout is skillfully contrasted by black windows frames and black light fixtures for an elegant, modern feel. The large kitchen is highlighted by a marble waterfall island, inset cabinets, and an abundance of natural light. The Ambabu Honed Marble from the kitchen counters is used again to outline the fireplace unit, tying the entire floor-into a calming and cohesive design.Upstairs lies three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and the laundry room. The basement includes a second living space with another full bathroom. Overall, this home advantage of a its small lot by maximizing an open floor plan built for entertaining.
