Whitneyville

Story

This home features many simple, fresh details that make a statement. We worked with this client to marry two different styles, she preferred more traditional craftsman and he liked mid century style and the clean more modern approach. We came up with an original custom paneling throughout the main floor drawing a lot of interest to the gorgeous lines and spaces. Our clients needed specific areas for family time and also professional time as they frequently work from home.  This house has an abundance of amenities and unique areas that allow for a busy lifestyle and but still are beautiful. The hidden pantry and prep kitchen keep messes out of the main kitchen and out of sight when having guests or unexpected visitors. The master wing boasts a large walk in closet with all custom cabinetry and natural light.  In the basement there is a custom built in table nook for eating and game playing  in the basement that adds so much function to an otherwise open and less useful area. We used wallpaper as our inspiration for a color pallet on the twin girls wing in the basement. The cabinet color mixed with the champagne bronze fixtures and hardware turned out beautifully and is girly but mature enough to grow with them as they get older.  The boys wing also was fun, youthful and masculine without having to sacrifice style.
