Discovery Woods 2018

2018 landscape design in the woods

Story

Project description involved doing a landscape design of a ranch home, located in the woods on 2.3 acre lot with hilly slopes.  The description process involved yard prep, boulder retaining wall, 80 yards of screened top soil, and  hydro seed(Kentucky blue grass).  A rain bird irrigation system was needed for the various plants, shrubs, and trees for watering.   Additional items included aluminum edgings and walnut colored rocks for that professional landscape look.  I enjoyed working on this project since it was my first job in attempting to do a house landscape in the woods.   I know I had to make the front a showstopper for all to see and appreciated the beauty of the nature surrounding it.  The surrounding neighbors loved it also.  You see the beauty of landscaping is like a blank canvas, how you design it and style it reflects the inner being of the client, and you making it happen for them.  Its the "focal point".  Thanks to all who worked and made it a wonderful sight for all to see.
