This 1990s 3 level home had the perfect location, but lacked the updates and style befitting it's lakefront view. To update the space, we eliminated the doors to the sunroom, leaving an 8' high opening so that the space feels continuous from one room to another. By doing this, the gorgeous view could be enjoyed from the entrance of the home, through the family room and onto the newly updated porch. The porch was converted to a 3 season room with the addition of 2 split minis and floor to ceiling windows. To enlarge the kitchen, we relocated the powder room to behind the newly created mudroom at the garage entrance. This allowed the luxury of 2 islands (1 for prep, 1 for entertaining) and a wet bar. This kitchen was created with Conestoga cabinetry in 2 finishes, marble backsplash (with accent focal point), custom copper range hood and a built in microwave. In the owner's bath, we specified marble for the floors and walls, along with a glass herringbone at the Super White marble countertop backsplash. We added a freestanding clawfoot tub with a floor mounted filler; enhanced by the statement wall tile on the shower walls & niches. Additional work includes 3 additional remodeled bathrooms; basement wet bar, new flooring throughout; exterior front door, paint and shutters; new lighting; full height ledgestone fireplace.
