Story

A single annoying structural column disrupted the flow of the kitchen, from the kitchen dinette area to the kitchen nook, breakfast area, and back entry hallway to garage which lead to a kitchen remodel. The project was a hybrid kitchen remodel, a combination of existing refinishing cabinetry and new cabinetry. The existing cabinetry updated with new doors & drawer fronts and the new custom cabinetry was used for the new wet bar, and island cabinets. The project featured a Farmhouse sink paired with a pull-down faucet. The new quartz countertops were a beautiful Calcutta Arno Quartz and a Silestone Miami White. The kitchen featured two unique style tile backsplashes, the cooktop wall dressed in a 12 x 24 Cava Gold, Porcelain glazed tile in a straight set pattern. With the rest of the kitchen receiving a 3x12 Maiolica Crackled White 3 x 12 subway, ceramic glazed tile in a 1/3 offset pattern. Other features of the project included LED lighting in the upper, glass door topper cabinets. Beautiful, rustic charm barn wood to cover the steel beam and applied on the faux beam on the opposite side of the kitchen. Gorgeous live, edge maple open shelves nestled between the fridge and glassware cabinet in the beverage. The final completion of the project resulted in timelessness for years to come.
