Some older homes in North Ridge neighborhood are past ready for a new look. These homeowners turned to Wood Wise to make this one their “forever” home. Wood Wise designer Kathy Walker created three design options for a smart, spacious kitchen for this family with three children. Options included a play area and guest room, and several outdoor living solutions. The winning floorplan features a dining room addition overlooking the expansive backyard and a beautiful kitchen with a large island. An addition behind the garage doubles as a playroom/guest room with an adjoining full bathroom. The old dining room is now headquarters for the family business. All hardwood flooring was refinished and the house has fresh paint on the exterior as well as the interior. A new screened porch with stone fireplace provides year-round outdoor living.
