What to do when you love your house, your neighborhood and location but just don't have enough space? You build a 600 square foot addition to accommodate you needs.. That is exactly what this couple did with their 1 bedroom 1 office (the room had no closet) 1 bathroom bungalow. During construction we were able to determine why the homeowner's electric bill was so high each month. The home had no insulation in the exterior walls. The new addition contains a dining room extension, laundry room, owner's bedroom and bathroom. All the windows were replaced. We also resided the home and garage. Then we tackled the existing inside by replacing all the trim, removing an unused fireplace and adding a tile backsplash to the kitchen.. This one bedroom, one office one bathroom now has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms..
