Muskegon, Michigan
Electrical-Contractor
Feyen Zylstra was hired to renovate the existing water treatment plant, as well as design the electrical systems for a major addition. Converting the existing manually operated plant to a computer-controlled, state-of-the-art facility was one of the biggest challenges and represented over $900,000 of contract cost. The project team upgraded the electrical distribution system throughout the facility, installing numerous 500 KW and 800 KW emergency generators. The large addition allows for double the former water treatment capacity.
