Feyen Zylstra’s System Engineering group was retained by Comau Pico to design and build the control panels in a cylinder head assembly line for Chrysler. The team designed and built the panels according to specifications from Chrysler, including all as-builts. From the date of order receipt, design and building took place simultaneously. The entire project took only two months from start to finish (making Feyen Zylstra one of only two contractors out of fifty to meet the deadline). The panels included 9 single-door and 12 double-door enclosures, 23 operator interface panels with spans, and 16 remote monitoring stations.
