Story

ERMCO, Inc. provided new lighting, distribution equipment, emergency generator system, theatrical dimming and lighting control systems, and fire alarm systems. This project consisted of four stories of classrooms, scene shops, dance studios, computer design, stage lighting design studios, sound studios and two stage production areas.

The main theater seated 150 guests, had a 70ft stage tower with a full compliment of scenery, curtains and lighting rigging. There were several theatrical lighting catwalks located above the audience along with a fiber optic lighting system design to represent a star constellation. The secondary theater is known as an experimental theater with the audience seated above and around the stage floor in three different levels.

The building had very high end architectural finishes which made coordination particularly important and required close attention to detail. It was truly a project ERMCO, Inc. was proud to be a part of.
