Crossroads Community Church

Kokomo, Indiana

Civil-Engineering

Story

Crossroads Community Church was founded in 1846. The congregation moved to the current building in December of 2003, and quickly grew to fill the space, generating the need for an expansion to the facility. The proposed 23,000 square foot expansion known as the “KidsTown,” includes: a new lobby, vestibule and vehicular drop off area, along with classrooms, a multi purpose and gathering area with a mezzanine level, and various parking & traffic circulation improvements. The Driesenga team provided site Civil Engineering services for the expansion, and prepared documents for Howard County site plan approvals including site layout and grading, utility extensions, storm water calculations and construction plans. D&A coordinated with the Architect and Engineering Design team members to develop an integrated set of documents.
