CSM Group was selected by the American Red Cross to construct their new facility in Greater Kalamazoo. The facility includes a large open office space for volunteers surrounded by private staff offices and conference rooms in the south wing. The north wing includes training rooms, that double as a blood drive collection site, a kitchen to prepare disaster relief staples, a break room, several storage areas for disaster supplies and CPR dummies, a wash down area and a garage for disaster relief vehicles. The lower level includes a communication room, mechanical and electrical spaces, storage and break areas as well as training rooms that double as an emergency operations center.
