Story

The City of Ionia's direction to the Architect was to provide them with the highest quality new facility that would efficiently house all aspects of their police and fire departments, while following tight budgetary constraints.  Special design considerations were utlized in order for the new building to be placed into the context of a historic neighborhood.  The project included two equipment garages, administration offices, dispatch, locker rooms, training spaces, as well as the integration of building security, mechanical, and electrical systems.
