Story

This 49,000 sq. ft. expansion consisted of the addition of a foot surgery and a patient wing on the southwest side of the hospital. Classic Engineering was involved as the subcontractor providing the structural steel detailing. Unique features of the project were the structure’s geometry which created skewed beam to column and beam to beam connections. Challenges in the project were in creating skewed moment connections between the beams and columns.
