Story

Design Program:  Pioneer is a manufacturer of medical and surgical equipment founded in 1992 by Dr. Matthew Songer.  The addition is 36,000 square feet doubling their current facility operation size. The Project was being conducted as four bid packages: Electrical to power the new laser etching, hydraulic testing equipment, and an 80 person training area with additional clean rooms, two new make-up air units with provisions for future cooling to maintain the stringent air quality demands Pioneer has to maintain during its machining process, plumbing bid package for the addition, and   building expansion HVAC which contains a 38,000 cfm building air handling unit and 8,000 cfm clean room air handling unit both with variable speed control, 110 ton air cooled chiller, 24 vav boxes two 700,000 btuh Patterson Kelly boilers, all systems have dual pumping systems for redundancy and reliability so operations can proceed without interruption and all are controlled by "Delta" Direct Digital controls (DDC).
