Chicago Park District Fieldhouse Prototype

Chicago, Illinois

Architectural

Story

The Chicago Park District Prototype Fieldhouse will set the design standard for future Chicago Park District fieldhouses, and include site development features for three parks: Taylor Lauridsen, Jesse Owens, and Valley Forge. Programmed to include administrative and support functions, a gymnasium, fitness rooms, athletic fields, and more, the design also accommodates future expansion for a natatorium and a clubroom.

The fieldhouses will utilize sustainable design and construction practices with a goal of silver level LEED certification, merging Booth Hansen’s long-standing commitment to conscious stewardship of resources with the green building initiatives of the PBC, the City of Chicago, and the Chicago Park District.
