Bay Area Specialty Flooring installed Herculan poured urethane systhetic flooring in the locker room at Frankenmuth High school. The system is a product of Action Floors LLC. It is comprised of a 6mm thick recycled rubber base mat adhered to the existing terrazzo floor, and topped with a 2mm thick urethane layer for durability. These type floor systems can be resurfaced with a new urethane "lift" when they start to wear and made to look "new again" at much less cost than replacing the floor. This product is not slippery when wet and is resilient in case of a fall or mishap. Herculan is solvent free and is a green product. Herculan comes is a varity of thickness' and colors.
