Glazing

Story

This project features a variety of custom fabricated glazing systems furnished and installed by AGM including high performance triple glazed curtainwall with multiple custom face cap extensions, interior sill extensions, integrated shadowbox assemblies, vertically and horizontally oriented sunshade assemblies, composite panel window surrounds, stainless steel reveal channels throughout the masonry veneer and custom fabricated patina copper shingle panels installed on (5) surfaces of the reading room space that floats four stories above the north lobby concourse.

AGM also furnished and installed most of the interior glass & glazing systems including typical aluminum storefront framing and monolithic heavy glass walls extending floor to ceiling with custom curved panels at lobby overlook locations.

AGM worked with the design and construction teams pre and post bid to help develop and refine critical interface details and thermal modeling analysis as required to maintain design intent and confirm thermal performance expectations.  By being awarded a Single-Source enclosure contract AGM was able to coordinate engineering and manufacturing processes of multiple material suppliers as required to facilitate a seamless integration of critical building envelope systems without compromise to established performance or aesthetic goals.
