Residents enjoy common areas such as three dining facilities, library, chapel, media room, salon, gathering spaces, pool and fitness center, and golf simulator. The quality of the finishes in the facility is truly remarkable, including those for the build-outs of customized apartments. The gardens and water features provide residents with green space and a lush park-like setting. All residents have underground parking spaces for convenience. Beacon Hill at Eastgate was built on the site of the former Metro Health Hospital in East Grand Rapids. The community is designed to meet the physical, social, and spiritual needs of residents in a homelike Christian atmosphere. Rockford Construction was involved in the years of preplanning and completed construction in 18 months.
