The Midwest’s premier wine bar opened in 2010 to rave reviews. Reserve was created out of the historic Commercial Savings Bank on the first floor of the Windquest Building on Monroe Avenue, a great location between the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel and DeVos Place. The bank’s original vault now houses the wine cellar; additionally, Rockford Construction preserved the original plaster molding and marble wainscoting. Reserve showcases a custom-made cruvinet wine system, allowing more than 100 wines to be served by the glass. Wine lovers can treat their taste buds to 270 wines while they treat their eyes to a mix of contemporary and vintage design elements as well as artist Ran Ortner's "Open Water No. 24," the first winner of ArtPrize.
