Narrative

The Disney Skyliner is located at the entrance to The Disney Riviera Hotel on Disney property. This amazing Gondola transportation system allows guest to enjoy views of park ride and the entire park as they make their way to the entrance of the park and / or Disney Springs.

PCL Construction was awarded the contract for this project and in turn P&A Roofing was assigned the Roofing contract for this project.P&A Roofing and Sheet Metal was honored to be able to work on this project.As you can see from the picture below the roofing style mimics that of the Riviera hotel with the Mediterranean feel. The architectural shingles, rounded edges and metal slopes with cooper gutters and drains makes this a master piece to look at!

This project started for P&A Roofing and Sheet Metal on 05/2018 and was completed 09/2019. As you will be able to see from the picture below there were many obstacles to over come with running cables and pully stations through out the roof system which left plenty of room for the water tight seal to possibly be compromised.

Our team took it all in stride. Planned it all out in order to stay on budget and on time. From the beginning of this project P&A Roofing and Sheet Metal took the time to plan out for safety, weather and project access concerns. As a result the project ran smoothly with no real complications and a beautiful finished product.

Because this project ran so smoothly with thoughtful planning, accommodating the clients request for 2^nd and 3^rd shift labor, deliveries and inspections I would like this for this Project to be considered for the Eagle Award!
