Architectural

Story

Description:

Facetime is an interior architecture project focusing specifically on the retail of both sunglasses and watches. This modern interior features display units and cases that can be modified for the best presention of product. In addition, a pre-designed Swatch display needed to be incorporated into the space. The linear intersecting ceiling lighting pattern is repeated below in the tile flooring. Along with the design of the space, the branding and naming of the store, exterior

signage and the store front was also included in the project scope. The strategy with this project

was to develop a store brand that can be replicated in airports across the country.

Uniqueness:

  • exterior white plex panels / stand-offs
  • custom designed signage
  • intersecting ceiling lighting pattern and repeating pattern in the tile floor
Impact:

This retail store is unique to the Indianapolis International Airport and would be the prototype

store for other airports.
