Parkview Women's & Children's Hospital Completed
The Parkview Women's & Children's Hospital is located on the Parkview North Campus. W. A. Sheets & Sons served as the project General Contractor. Our ASHE (American Society of Healthcare Engineering) trained team served to see the project met or exceeded American Hospital Association standards. New patient rooms, birthing center, NICU rooms, lounges, nurses stations, outdoor garden / court yard, food services and operating rooms were all included in the project.
Grand Wayne Center Completed
The Grand Wayne Center is looked upon as the starting point for the rejuvenation of downtown Fort Wayne. W. A. Sheets & Sons was selected as the construction manager in the spring of 2003. Working on a tight site, it was important that we maintain traffic in and out of Fort Wayne and minimize disruptions to the Grand Wayne Center and hotel while construction was ongoing. The City of Fort Wayne engineers and staff assisted our team to see that traffic issues were minimized. The Grand Wayne Center presented us with their goals during construction and we saw to it that disruptions were minimized throughout the process. It was a pleasure serving their staff and working with the architectural design teams, consisting of both local and national architectural firms.
