Home to a college, museum, lirbary and archive, Chicago's new
Spertus Institute of Jewish Studies opened in November, 2007 and
sponsors programs that run the gamet of Jewish culture. The
Institute's new facility, located on Michigan Avenue [immediately
adjacent to the old] also incorporates a 400-seat auditorium and a
Grand Ballroom which overlook Lake Michigan and boasts
breathtaking views of the city. Kirkegaard's responsibilities included
room acoustics, noise control, sound isolation, and audio/video
systems design.
