Design Plus provided landscape design development and master planning for Young Life’s Timber Wolf Lake Camp, a camp designed to support their outreach to adolescents. The camp boasts a wide range of amenities including a high ropes course, mountain bike trails, volleyball and basketball courts, baseball diamonds, rope swing, horseshoe pits, zip line, disc golf course, and rock climbing wall, as well as a opportunities for tubing and “The Blob” located on the man-made lake located in the center of the property. Services provided by Design Plus included design development of the 876-acre site including building placement, landscape design, entry signage and landscape, grading analysis and concept plan. We were also hired to provide mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and site lighting systems design and construction documentation for several facilities on the site including the activity hub, dining hall, and office/maintenance building. Design Plus was also hired to prepare elevation and perspective renderings of the dining hall, dormitory buildings, guest lodge, club building, intern work crew and assigned staff housing buildings for use in promotional materials. Site and MEP work was completed in early 2000, while renderings were completed in 2002.
