Stonehouse

East Lansing, Michigan

General-Contractor-Design/Build

Story

Stonehouse, owned by Cron Management, consists of a mix of retail and residential to draw a wider market to the downtown area. Stonehouse consisted of two phases, first being a completed 38,000 square foot residential and retail building. Phase 2, locally named Albert Place will continue in the same format so to have two hybrid buildings of both steel and wood framing and a split-free block exterior.

According to Fryling Project Manager Jon Laureto, “This will be a great addition to downtown East Lansing, bringing more condos, residents, and shopping to the 600 Block.”

The first building has 5,000 square feet of commercial retail space with 9 apartments on the upper floors.  Each spacious apartment will have two bedrooms and over 1,000 square feet of space.

The second building will be a five-story mix with condos and parking.  The first two floors will be a 120 space parking ramp with three floors of condos on top.  There will be a total of 36 condo units available, ranging from one-bedroom, two-bedroom, to two-bedroom with a den.  Each condo unit will include two parking spaces within the parking ramp.  There will also be a Greenroof over the parking ramp, which will create a beautiful and environmentally friendly project.
