Wolverine Building Group was contracted by Senior Meals to convert a 1920’s era manufacturing facility into a high-tech kitchen and food production space with the latest sanitation, safety, and security features.  The new facility includes 17,000 sq. ft. of kitchen and food production, with several coolers, freezers, a blast cooler, dry storage areas, and industrial food preparation equipment.

Each year, Senior Meals serves 6,000 individuals 60 and older, through its delivery systems and food pantry programs. The expanded production area will allow them to double their annual production capacity.
