Story

A new 43,000 square foot facility that will serve as the Kentwood District Library's new flagship location. The $6.5 Million, two-story building has an open floor plan that promotes community activity, recreational reading, and the desire for learning. The new library features computer labs, conference and study rooms, an entrepreneurial center, a local history room, a rooftop patio, and a large community room.

Wolverine Building Group incorporated sustainable design and construction techniques on the library project including white roofing, natural lighting, regional materials such as natural Indiana limestone, recycling waste, and energy-efficient mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
