Story

A design-build project for G.B Russo and Son consists of an 8,000 square foot addition to the existing 10,000 square foot specialty grocery store.  The conventional steel and masonry addition was designed by Wolverine Building Group and ROI Design.  The project also includes the renovation of the entire existing facility and significant exterior upgrades to the façade, parking lot, utilities and landscape.  Russo's was remained open during the entire time of construction.
The biggest challenge on this project was to minimize the disruption to the staff and patrons of Russo's during construction.  Through effective communication and the phasing of our work business operated as usual for Russo's and their customers throughout the project. Shopping at Russo's has always been a treat, and the improvements they've made to the facility will make the shopping experience there even more enjoyable for many years to come.
