Story

Construction of an eight-building apartment complex located on Cross Oaks Drive in Otsego. Each building is two-stories with eight units ranging in size from one to three bedrooms. The project also includes an office building with a community room, two-bedroom unit and office space.

Emerald Woods was constructed under budget and ahead of schedule with the help of the Michigan State Housing Development Authority.  This was the third phase in an extensive housing development on Cross Oaks Drive. The project was constructed adjacent to Emerald Park, Phase I completed completed by another contractor and Phase II by Wolverine in 2005.  Phase II consists of one 54,000 square foot senior building with 49 units of housing.

The projects are owned by Excel Realty Investors and designed by Economides Architects. Together with Wolverine, they are a proven team that has worked together on seven projects throughout Southwest Michigan since 2003 and are now beginning to close in on a half million square feet of work in place together.
