Story

The Beaumont is a large mixed-use development located between Coolidge and Chandler roads just north of downtown East Lansing, owned by Gillespie Group.

 

Phase 1 of this multi-phased construction project includes many units available to buy and lease.  The Beaumont Life offers “a new version of the neighborhood,” with homes, town homes, condos, apartments, and retail.  The Beaumont’s grand plan will contain 26 charming ‘bungalows’, 80 Walk-up Brownstones, 56 Luxury Flats and 272 Grand Garden Apartments.

 

Fryling completed construction on 10 single family homes, one town home building with 12 units, and one apartment building with 22 units.  Both the single-family homes and town-homes offer two or more bedrooms, a garage, and average 1500 square feet. The apartment units feature one to two bedrooms and range in size from 754 square feet to 1031 square feet.  The development also features a town-square with gazebo.

 

An additional two apartments are mixed residential/retail that finish Phase 1.  The main floors, 9,500 square-feet, will hold retail units such as the leasing center, fitness area, and more.  The remaining 35,500 square-feet include 26 one to two bedroom units.
