William A. Kibbe & Associates, Inc. provided complete design services including architectural, civil, structural and electrical for a two story addition and renovations to the existing Saint Mary’s Ambulatory Care Center.
The purpose of this project was to provide additional area to the existing first floor Endoscopy Suite and the second floor Pain Clinic providing convenient patient and staff flow throughout the areas and improved patient confidentiality.
The newly remodeled first floor Endoscopy Suite will house two procedure rooms, one centrally located cleaning room, six patient holding rooms, staff lounge, locker & toilet facilities, support spaces including a nurse station, work areas, clean supply room, soiled holding room, storage room, physician dictation & patient toilet rooms, and two HIPA compliant admitting rooms.
The newly remodeled second floor Pain Clinic will house two fluoroscopy rooms, ten patient holding rooms, and support spaces including two nurse stations, work areas, clean supply room, soiled holding room, storage room & patient toilet rooms.
William A. Kibbe & Associates, Inc. provided structural engineering design services for this new “sense of entry” for The Dow Event Center.
This new entrance provides one location to purchase tickets, enter the Heritage Theater to view Broadway Shows, and enter the civic arena to view hockey games, concerts, automobile shows, etc.
The unique shape required intricate structural design and detailing, as the majority of the structure is visible from the interior and exterior of the entrance.
