Pine Grove Learning Center offers special education to 65 students between the ages of 5 and 26 whose physical, cognitive or emotional challenges are such that they cannot be served in regular education classrooms.

Pine Grove Learning Center is a "center program" which means the building is part of the Kent Intermediate School District and operated by the Special Education experts of the Grand Rapids Public Schools.
