Story

This facility combines Hyundai and Kia operations on 28th Street by replacing the existing Hyundai and Kia facilities located at Broadmoor Avenue and 29th Street in Grand Rapids. The facility was designed to meet both the Kia and Hyundai Manufacturers Standards.

The new two-story, 52,000 sf facility serves as a full-service automobile dealership with areas for new and pre-owned sales. Also included in the project were a 15,000 sf service and repair area, a parts sale area, outdoor display space and associated parking.

Careful phasing and scheduling was employed with the subcontractors to allow the extensive site work to be completed before winter weather encroached. The Triangle Team provided daily contact with all on-site foremen to ensure the project was as stream-lined as possible.

Though the schedule was extremely aggressive, quality was not sacrificed during the process. Great effort was made by the team to ensure all of the unique details were completed as designed.
