Story

The CH2M Hill Corporate Campus consists of four office buildings that total 500,000 square feet. Swanson Rink provided plumbing, power, lighting, fire alarm, security, and audio video designs for the core and shell as well as tenant improvements for this corporate campus complex.

Three of the buildings have successfully achieved LEED V2 certification. The fourth building is under construction and will be seeking LEED V2 Silver Certification. Swanson Rink helped achieve LEED certification by providing energy efficient mechanical and electrical design.

The mechanical systems design and equipment exceeded the ASHRAE standards used for establishing minimum acceptable design by more than 40 percent. Contributing design components included evaporating condensing on the rooftop units, variable air volume, 100 percent air economizer, and premium efficiency motors.
