This consolidation of the State’s mental health hospital campus in Cincinnati includes both new and renovated structures. Roth was responsible for the design of the innovative Treatment Mall, which includes treatment spaces, department offices, a clinic, and a spacious central cafeteria area, as well as two plant services buildings. Roth provided planning for the information technology room and the healthcare expertise for the facility, which was designed in association with SFA architects.
Roth Partnership designed a new, state-of-the-art endovascular operating suite, which includes voice recognition, touch panel technology, control rooms, and holding rooms. It is the first endovascular facility in the Tri-State area to incorporate such advanced equipment.
The only center of its kind in Northern Kentucky, this outpatient facility is specifically for children who are victims of sexual abuse. With a residential exterior, the center is warm and inviting, creating a relatable atmosphere for patients and their families. The center is designed to assist in healing, prevention and protection. Included are interview, observation, therapy and family meeting rooms designed for comfort and healing. Medical examination rooms, as well as law enforcement and attorneys’ offices, ensure the physical safety of the children. Green design is implemented through building orientation. Additionally, the use of light shelves and clerestory windows allows significant daylight to enter the building, which enables the center to reduce its overall energy costs.
