Lowell High School Finished
The new high school has room to grow. It sits on 105 acres of open land that affords ample room for expansion, and accommodates 1,200 students, but has the capacity for future enrollment of 1,600.
Features:
- A skylight runs the length of the concourse, allowing natural light to illuminate much of the interior.
- The facility was built with a state-of-the-art computer lab; a media center with capacity for
20,000 volumes; and a greenhouse on the west side of the building.
- The main gymnasium seats 1,800 spectators and an auxiliary gym seats another 200.
- The 750-seat auditorium includes an orchestra pit with room for 15 to 20 musicians, and a professional-quality stage and theatre rigging.
- Cafeteria provides seating for 450 students, and additional faculty dining for 60.

Hopkins High School Completed
The new high school provides educational technology throughout the building. The challenging schedule permitted occupancy in May of 1999, allowing teachers to organize their classrooms before the start of the new school year.

- Computer wing including circular media center and a technology education classroom
- Network infrastructure for computers, data and voice systems
- Academic area with capacity for 700 students
- Performance gymnasium with seating for 2,000 spectators
- Addition of a 26' x 38' greenhouse
- Mechanical systems updated with central air conditioning
